Recently, the Ministry of Health issued Circular 06/2011/TT-BYT stipulating regulations on the management of cosmetics in Vietnam.
Cosmetic products that contain the following Ingredients are still allowed to be putting on the market in Vietnam (Illustrative image)
According to Article 15 of Circular 06/2011/TT-BYT, cosmetic products contain the following Ingredients are still allowed to be putting on the marketin Vietnam, including:
Ingredients or raw materials listed in Annex III, part 2, within the limits and under the conditions stated, until the date specified in column (g) of this Annex.
Dyes listed in Annex IV, part 2, within the allowed limits and under the accepted conditions, until the date specified in this Annex.
Preservatives listed in Annex VI, part 2, within the allowed limits and under the accepted conditions, until the date mentioned in column (f) of this Annex. However, some of these ingredients may be used in different concentrations for specific purposes, clearly stated in the presentation form of the product.
Ultraviolet filters specified in part 2 of Annex VII, within the allowed limits and under the stipulated conditions, until the date mentioned in column (f) of this Annex.
The regulations regarding the use of substances listed in the above Annexes may change according to the decision of the ASEAN Cosmetics Committee. These regulations will be automatically updated and valid in Vietnam.
