This is one of the important contents stipulated in Circular 74/2014/TT-BGTVT Promulgating the Regulations on Archival Work of the Ministry of Transport. It includes provisions on Document Processing in the archives of the Ministry of Transport.

Specifically, in Article 7 of Circular 74/2014/TT-BGTVT, regulations on correction of documents are as follows:
1. Principles of correction of documents
- Do not disperse the archival fonds;
- When classifying, preparing the file (editing, completing, restoring, or creating new files), respect the formation of documents according to the sequence of monitoring and solving tasks (do not break established files);
- The documents after revision must reflect the activities of the agency or organization forming the documents; logic and historical events of the documents.
2. Documents after revision must meet the following requirements:
- Complete classification and file preparation;
- Determine the retention period for files and documents;
- Systematize the files and documents;
- Create search tools: File catalog, database, and other search tools to serve management and document usage;
- Create a list of documents that have expired value.
3. File and correction of documents is carried out according to regulations of the State Records and Archives Department, Ministry of Home Affairs.
4. Revision of Completion Dossiers:
- Completion dossiers of transportation projects are carried out according to the correction of documents regulations of the State Records and Archives Department, Ministry of Home Affairs.
- The expense for creating and revising completion dossiers is deducted from the basic construction investment capital of the project.
- The norm for determining the unit price for creating and revising completion dossiers and office supplies serving the revision is applied as per the regulations on administrative correction of documents of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
