Content of Work at Sea Radar Stations and Low-power Consumption Sea Radar Stations

On February 07, 2018, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued Circular 01/2018/TT-BTNMT to specifically list the content of tasks at the marine radar station and the low-energy-consuming marine radar station.

Accordingly, Circular 01 stipulates the content of work at the marine radar station and the low-energy consumption marine radar station including:

- Handover shifts;- Inspect and monitor the power source, room temperature, and auxiliary equipment;- Inspect and monitor the operation of the receiver, transmitter, and antenna system;- Inspect and monitor the status of the computer;- Inspect and monitor the radar signal quality;- Inspect and monitor spectral data, raw data, wave data, and radial current data obtained from the radar;- Inspect and monitor the data transmission process of waves and currents to the operating station;- Exchange information with the operating station;- Maintain, service, clean radar equipment, tools, working means, and specialized constructions;- Perform administrative tasks;- Handle incidents.
