Content of the Permit to Work in Confined Spaces

Circular 29/2018/TT-BLDTBXH was issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on December 25, 2018, specifying the contents of the permit to work in a restricted space.

According to Circular 29, the permit for entering confined spaces must contain the following details:

- Description of the location and name, code (if any) of the confined space;- Description of the tasks to be performed in the confined space;- Full name of the supervisor, commander;- Full names of individuals working in the confined space, and the guard;- Full name of the person responsible for issuing the permit, and the time of permit issuance;- Results of air measurement and inspection in the confined space before issuance and additional requirements for frequency, location of air measurements, and inspections before and during the performance of the work;- Duration/validity of the Permit for entering confined spaces;- Safety measures to be implemented before and maintained during the performance of work in the confined space;- Other contents in accordance with the requirements of the production facility where the confined space is located.

At the same time, Circular 29 also stipulates that permits for working in confined spaces that have been closed or revoked must be kept at the production facility for at least 01 (one) year.
