regulates the content of knowledge, skills, and duration of training for intermediate professional military training in Vietnam according to Circular 117/2009/TT-BQP as follows:
+ The volume of knowledge, skills, and duration of training for intermediate professional military training specifics:
- Implement training for 18 months with the volume of training knowledge and skills ranging from 95 to 105 academic units; in which the professional education content portion dedicates a time ratio for teaching practice and internship from 50% to 75%;
- The maximum time to complete the program includes the time prescribed for the training program stated in item a.
+ Training organization:
- Provincial Military Schools organize training by course, academic year, and semester.
- The duration of a course is calculated from enrollment to program completion. The course is designed according to the current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
- An academic year has two main semesters, each main semester has at least 15 weeks of actual learning and from 2 to 3 exam weeks. A week should not have more than 30 periods of theory sessions. Time for practice, internships, and graduation internships is calculated by the hour, with no more than 8 hours per day. Besides the two main semesters, the Principal of the Military School can organize off-time and days off to help students who have modules assessed as not passed during the academic year to re-study and re-take exams;
- Based on the training programs, the Principal of the Military School sets up plans to allocate modules for each academic year and each semester;
- At the beginning of the course, the school must notify students about the training regulations; the content and study plan of the training programs; the content of the training program for each semester; the list of modules, exam schedule, forms of module exams; rights and obligations of students.
