Content and Format of the Promotion Test in the Sports and Physical Education Sector

To be specific:

General knowledge exam

- The content of the exam is regulated by Circular 23, including:

- Positions and guidelines of the Communist Party, policies, and laws of the State on high-performance sports and professional sports;- Training of sports talents and the competition system of high-performance sports;- Methods for developing and implementing the development strategy of sports at the national and provincial, city, and sector levels;- System of state agencies; law on public employees in accordance with the standards of the senior coach title (rank I);- The content of the exam knowledge in the field of sports accounts for 60%, while political, state management, and public employee law accounts for 40%.

- Exam format: Written.

- Exam duration: 180 minutes.

Specialized professional knowledge exam

- The exam content aims to assess the level, capacity, and skills in developing proposals, presenting, and defending the professional job titles in the competition.

- Exam format: Written and proposal defense.

- Proposal defense duration: Maximum 30 minutes/person.

Foreign language exam

- Exam Content: Reading comprehension, writing, listening, and interview (conversation) skills at level 3 (B1) in one of the languages: English, French, Russian, German, Chinese as per the public employee's registration.

- Exam format: Written and interview (conversation).

- Exam duration: Written 90 minutes and interview (conversation) 15 minutes/person.

Information technology exam

- Exam Content: Testing basic information technology skills according to the standards of the senior coach title (rank I).

- Exam format: Multiple choice or practical on a computer.

- Exam duration: 45 minutes.
