Conditions and Configuration for EMC Emission and Immunity Testing

The following is notable content in Circular 28/2017/TT-BTTTT stipulating the National Technical Regulation on Electromagnetic Compatibility for Fixed Radio Transmission Equipment and Auxiliary Equipment.

the emission measurement and EMC immunity must meet the following conditions and measurement configurations:

- The equipment to be measured should comply with the manufacturer's declared conditions for humidity, temperature, and supply voltage;- The measurement configuration should aim to closely resemble typical usage conditions;- If the equipment is part of a system or can be connected to auxiliary equipment, it must accept measurement when connected to the minimum necessary auxiliary equipment configuration to utilize the ports;- Active ports connected to auxiliary equipment or other devices must either connect to those devices or be terminated to simulate the input/output characteristics of the auxiliary equipment or other devices;- If the equipment has a large number of ports, only a sufficient number of ports need to be selected to simulate actual working conditions;- Ports should not be connected to cables during the expected operational period;- Measurement conditions, measurement configuration, and operating methods must be recorded in the measurement report.

More details can be found in Circular 28/2017/TT-BTTTT which takes effect from July 1, 2018.
