On May 30, 2019, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam issued Circular 04/2019/TT-BTNMT promulgating the list of residential, mountainous, hydrography, socio-economic destinations of to serve the map creation of Thai Binh province.

List of residential, mountainous, hydrography, socio-economic destinations of to serve the map creation of Thai Binh province includes the destinations of district-level administrative units as listed in the following table:

According to Circular 04, the list of residential, topographic, hydrographic, socio-economic locations serving the establishment of the map of the Thai Binh province mainland has been standardized from the names listed on the national topographic map at a 1:25,000 scale, VN-2000 system, in the mainland area of Thai Binh province.
