Compilation of Conditions for Implementing Practical Japanese Language Education

Recently, Circular 34/2018/TT-BGDDT was signed and promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training, stipulating the Continuing Education Program on Practical Japanese Language.

According to the new regulations, to implement the continuing education program in practical Japanese, educational institutions must meet the following requirements regarding teachers and facilities:

Teacher Requirements

- Japanese language teachers must meet the standard training qualifications and professional skills.- Teachers participating in teaching must be trained on the Program's contents and teaching materials; updated with new language, cultural knowledge, and modern teaching methods.- Teachers must fully and accurately grasp the objectives, perspectives, and teaching methods.

Facility Requirements

- Adequate equipment such as cassette players, CD players, language learning tapes, other necessary teaching aids, and curricula, teaching materials.- Curricula, teaching materials must be compiled or selected in accordance with the objectives, perspectives, methods, and content of the Program and suitable for the characteristics of the learners.- For educational institutions with conditions, they should organize for learners to access Japanese books and newspapers, and watch and listen to Japanese radio and television programs.
