Coefficient of hydrometeorological stations in Vietnam under Circular 39/2013/TT-BTNMT (Illustrative Image)

According to Article 15 of the Regulation on economic-technical norms for hydrometeorological documentation work issued together with Circular 39/2013/TT-BTNMT, the coefficients for the categories of stations in various types of hydrometeorological stations in Vietnam are specified as follows:

- Surface meteorological stations include:

- Category 1 meteorological station, coefficient 1.00;

- Category 2 and Category 3 meteorological stations, coefficient 0.80.

- Agricultural meteorological stations include:

- Category 1 agricultural meteorological station (Experimental Station), coefficient 2.00;

- Category 2 agricultural meteorological station (Basic Station), coefficient 1.00;

- Category 3 agricultural meteorological station (General Station), coefficient 0.80.

- Hydrological stations include:

- Category 1 hydrological station in tidal river areas, coefficient 1.00;

- Category 2 hydrological station in tidal river areas, coefficient 0.80;

- Category 3 hydrological station in tidal river areas, coefficient 0.25;

- Category 1 hydrological station in non-tidal river areas, coefficient 0.70;

- Category 2 hydrological station in non-tidal river areas, coefficient 0.40;

- Category 3 hydrological station in non-tidal river areas, coefficient 0.15.

- Oceanographic meteorological stations include:

- Category 1 oceanographic meteorological station, coefficient 2.00;

- Category 2 oceanographic meteorological station, coefficient 1.00;

- Category 3 oceanographic meteorological station, coefficient 0.70.

- Survey stations, survey lines, and hydrological survey points include:

- Points/lines measuring water discharge in tidal influence areas, coefficient 1.00;

- Points/lines measuring water discharge in non-tidal influence areas (dry season), coefficient 0.05.

- Water and air environmental stations include:

- Water environment, coefficient 1.00;

- Air environment, coefficient 0.80;

- Salinity measurement point, coefficient 0.60.

Note: The coefficients indicate the correlation between categories of stations within the same type. The labor, tools, equipment, and material norms in this Regulation are determined for stations with coefficients of 1.0. For other categories of stations, the calculation result for a station with a coefficient of 1.0 is multiplied by the coefficient of that station category.

More details can be found in Circular 39/2013/TT-BTNMT, which comes into effect in Vietnam from December 15, 2013.
