Classification of Occupational Accidents in the Ministry of National Defense

The Ministry of National Defense issued Circular 01/2017/TT-BQP stipulating the declaration, investigation, statistics, and reporting of occupational accidents within the Ministry of National Defense.

Accidents at work within the Ministry of National Defense are classified into three categories, specifically:

1. Occupational accidents resulting in the death of employees are those in which the employee dies under any of the following circumstances:

- Death at the accident site;- Death on the way to emergency treatment or during emergency treatment;- Death during the treatment period or death due to the recurrence of injuries caused by occupational accidents as concluded in the forensic examination report;- The employee is declared dead according to the court's conclusion in cases of missing persons.

2. Occupational accidents causing serious injuries to employees are those in which the employee suffers from at least one of the injuries stipulated in Appendix I issued together with Circular 01.

3. Occupational accidents causing minor injuries to employees are those occupational accidents that do not fall into the cases specified in Clauses 1 and 2 above.
