Civil servant code of the Market Management Agency in Vietnam (latest update) (Internet image) 

On November 30, 2023, the Minister of Industry and Trade issued Circular 25/2023/TT-BCT regulating the numbers of civil servants working at market management agencies at all levels.

Specifically, the Appendix issued with Circular 25/2023/TT-BCT stipulates civil servant codes as follows:

- Civil servant number of the central Market Management Agency: TW-QLTT (natural number sequence issued to civil servants).

For example: TW-QLTT026

- Civil servant number of the Provincial Market Management Agency: (Code of the Provincial Market Management Department) - QLTT (natural number sequence issued to civil servants).

For example: T01-QLTT012

2. Procedures for issuing civil servant codes of the Market Management Agency in Vietnam

Pursuant to Article 4 of Circular 25/2023/TT-BCT regulating procedures for granting civil servant codes of the Market Management agency, as follows:

- Dossier to request a civil servant code includes:

+ Document requesting issuance of a civil servant code from the Market Management agency where civil servants are recruited, received, mobilized, appointed, rotated, and seconded (hereinafter referred to as reception);

+ 01 (one) certified copy of the decision to accept work at the Market Management agency.

- Procedures for granting registration numbers:

+ Within 10 working days from the date the civil servant is accepted to work at the central Market Management agency, the Department of Personnel Organization under the General Department of Market Management prepares a dossier requesting issuance of a civil servant number and requests the Director General of the General Department of Market Management to consider and decide.

Within 15 working days from the date civil servants are accepted to work at Market Management agencies in centrally-run provinces and cities, the Head of the Provincial Market Management Agency prepares a dossier requesting the issuance of civil servant numbers for civil servants of the unit and requests the Director General of the General Department of Market Management to consider and decide;

+ Within 15 working days from the date of receiving the valid dossier, the Director General of the General Department of Market Management decides to issue a number to the requested civil servant.
