Officers and soldiers of the guard force, while performing the duty of protecting guarded subjects, are only permitted to fire in the following truly necessary cases:

- Warning individuals who are intruding into the area, the protective target;- Shooting at individuals intruding into the area, the protective target, after having issued a stop order and fired warning shots into the air but to no effect;- Neutralizing individuals who are directly attacking the protective target or officers and soldiers of the protection forces carrying out their duties;- In cases of using military weapons when performing tasks to ensure security and order as stipulated in the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools.
