Circumstances Not Covered by Fire and Explosion Insurance

The insurer fulfills the responsibility of indemnification for damages occurring to the insured subject arising from fire and explosion risks, except for the cases excluded from insurance liability.

In which, the cases excluded from insurance liability include:

- For facilities with fire and explosion hazards as stated in Clause 1, Article 2 of Decree 23 (excluding nuclear facilities), the insurer is not responsible for indemnification in the following cases:- Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or other natural disturbances.- Damages caused by political, security, and social order and safety incidents.- Property burnt or exploded as decided by competent state authorities.- Self-fermentation or self-heating property; property affected by a heat treatment process.- Lightning directly striking the insured property but not causing fire or explosion.- Nuclear weapon materials causing fire or explosion.- Machines, electrical equipment, or parts of electrical equipment damaged directly due to overloading, overpressure, short-circuits, self-heating, electric arcing, or any cause including lightning.- Damages caused by intentional acts of fire or explosion by the insured; intentional violations of fire prevention and fighting regulations directly causing fire or explosion.- Damages to data, software, and computer programs.- Damages caused by forest, bush, grass, or land clearing fires.- For nuclear facilities: The insurance company and the policyholder agree on the cases of exclusion of insurance liability based on the reinsurance company's acceptance.
