Circular 46: 05 eligibility requirements for taking the valuer exam in Vietnam (Illustrative image)
According to Article 4 of Circular 46/2014/TT-BTC, Vietnamese citizens registering to take the valuer exam must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. Have the capacity for civil acts, have a clear personal background, have professional ethics, integrity, honesty, objectivity, and awareness of compliance with the law.
2. Have a university or postgraduate degree in prices, valuation, economics, economic-technical, technical, or law awarded by legally recognized domestic or international training organizations.
3. Have practical working experience of 36 months or more from the date of obtaining the university degree to the last date of the application submission deadline as specified in point 2.
4. Have a valid valuation certificate issued by an organization providing valuation training as prescribed by the Ministry of Finance, except for the following cases:
- Individuals who have a domestically or internationally recognized university or postgraduate degree in prices or valuation;
- Individuals who have a university or postgraduate degree in economics, economic-technical, technical, or law and have also obtained a college degree in valuation.
5. Submit a complete and correctly formatted application and fully pay registration fees as stipulated in Article 5 of this Circular.
