Circular 39/2013/TT-BTNMT: Classification of hydrometeorological data products in Vietnam (Illustrative image)

Under the Regulations on economic-technical standards for hydrometeorological documentation issued with Circular 39/2013/TT-BTNMT, the types of hydrometeorological data products in Vietnam are as follows:

- Types of original books:

- Water level measurement book (N-1) used for hydrological measurement in non-tide affected river areas;

- Water level measurement book (T-1) used for hydrological measurement in tide-affected river areas;

- Cross-section depth measurement book (Book h);

- Water flow measurement book (N-4);

- Detailed water flow measurement book;

- Record book for measuring and processing suspended water samples (N-6);

- Types of water level diagrams (GTV);

- Types of adjustment and editing reports:

- Water level editing report (CBH);

- Water level and flow rate editing report (CBHQ);

- Tidal volume calculation form (for hydrological data in tide-affected river areas);

Additionally, specific hydrological survey data products are classified as follows:

- Water level observation book - T1 (N-1);

- Detailed drawing book (Book h);

- Elevation network measurement book (water level measurement book) (N-4);

- Coordinate network measurement book (N-6);

- Low water season flow measurement book (N-4);

- Speed measurement book;

- Water level and temperature record book (N-1);

- Edited low water season flow rate book (CBQ) (for hydrological measurement in non-tide affected river areas);

- Edited book (CBHQ);

- Tidal volume calculation form.
