Circular 35: Who is responsible for land Investigation and evaluation under the law in Vietnam?

The content is detailed in Circular 35/2014/TT-BTNMT on regulations on land investigation and evaluation issued by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (Hanoi, Vietnam).

Circular 35/2014/TT-BTNMT has clearly delineated the responsibilities for conducting, announcing the results of land investigation and evaluation of the General Department of Land Administration, Provincial People's Committees, and Departments of Natural Resources and Environment in provinces and centrally affiliated cities in Vietnam. To be specific:

General Department of Land Administration - Develop a plan for conducting land investigation and evaluation nationwide;

- Implement land investigation and evaluation nationwide, regionally;

- Develop and maintain a unified land resource monitoring system, organize the monitoring of land resources;

- Conduct thematic land investigation and evaluation for state land management requirements;

- Supervise and inspect the implementation of land investigation and evaluation at the provincial level;

- ...
Provincial People's Committees - Approve plans and results of land investigation and evaluation in the locality and announce them on the electronic information portal of the Provincial People's Committee;

- Report the results of land investigation and evaluation to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Departments of Natural Resources and Environment in provinces and centrally affiliated cities in Vietnam - Develop plans for land investigation and evaluation in the locality;

- Implement land investigation and evaluation in the locality;

- Compile, complete documentation and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of such plans; announce results of land investigation and evaluation on the electronic information portal of the Provincial People's Committee.
