Circular 24/2019/TT-BTNMT: Land-related information to be publicly disclosed

Currently, the Land Information Portal is the sole access point of the land management authority in the online environment, linking and integrating information channels, services, and applications related to land through which users can access and exploit land information. The exploitation of land information is carried out via the internet, the land information portal, SMS messaging service, and through request forms or documents at competent authorities providing land data.

In Clause 3, Article 1 of Circular 24/2019/TT-BTNMT amending Clause 3, Article 9 of Circular 34/2014/TT-BTNMT, it is stipulated that land information publicly announced includes:

a) The catalog of data in the land database;

b) Information about land use planning and plans that have been decided or approved by competent state agencies;

c) Publicly announced land price frameworks and land price tables;

d) Information on administrative procedures in the field of land;

đ) Legal normative documents on land.

Notably, this Circular abolishes cases of providing land data to serve national defense and security purposes without charging fees for exploiting and using land documents; Providing land data without charging fees for exploiting and using land documents to perform state management tasks on land (Clause 4, 5 Article 9 of Circular 34).

More details can be found in Circular 24/2019/TT-BTNMT of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam, which takes effect from February 15, 2020.
