Circular 21: Regulations on attire of female legal aid assistants in Vietnam (illustrative image)

Circular 21/2014/TT-BTP specifically regulates the attire of female legal aid assistants working at State Legal Aid Centers and Branches of State Legal Aid Centers in Vietnam as follows:

1. Suit jacket

- Color: Black fabric;

- Fabric material: For units from Thua Thien Hue to the North and Central Highlands units: Gabardine wool fabric; for units from Da Nang to the South: Twill wool blend fabric.

- Design: Single-breasted women's blazer, two straight buttons, round hem, no back vent, B-shaped notch lapel. The front of the jacket has two lower pockets, with concealed seams and rectangular flaps. The women's jacket does not have a chest pocket, the front is structured with interfacing, fully lined with silk fabric in the same color as the jacket fabric. Plastic buttons in the same color as the jacket fabric. Sleeves without elbow patches, cuffs attached with two buttons.

2. Suit trousers and spring-summer trousers

- Color: Black fabric;

- Fabric material: Suit trousers: For units from Thua Thien Hue to the North and Central Highlands units: Gabardine wool fabric; for units from Da Nang to the South: Twill wool blend fabric.

- Design: K12 style trousers, contoured waistband, two front pleats, two slanted front pockets (slit pockets). The waistband has an inox hook at the end, the fly uses a plastic zipper in the same color as the trousers fabric. The waistband is 03 centimeters (cm) wide and has five belt loops evenly distributed on both sides, a straight-cut hem, no back pockets.

3. Long-sleeve shirt

- Color: White fabric;

- Fabric material: Pivi bay fabric;

- Design: Standing collar shirt, long sleeves with cuffs attached with one button, placket with six plastic buttons in the same color as the fabric. The shirt has two front darts, two back darts, round hem.

4. Short-sleeve spring-summer shirt

- Color: White fabric;

- Fabric material: Pivi bay fabric;

- Design: Standing collar shirt, short sleeves, placket with six plastic buttons, buttons in the same color as the shirt fabric. The shirt has two front darts, two back darts, round hem.

Note: The attire model of female legal aid assistants in Vietnam is specified in Appendices 3 and 4 attached to this Circular.
