Circular 21: 05 Responsibilities of Binh Thuan Maritime Administration

This content is stipulated in Circular 21/2019/TT-BGTVT https://lawnet.vn/vb/thong-tu-21-2019-tt-bgtvt-vung-nuoc-cang-bien-binh-thuan-ninh-thuan-khu-vuc-vinh-tan-ca-na-65b28.html announcing the maritime zones of Binh Thuan province, the maritime zones of Binh Thuan - Ninh Thuan in the Vinh Tan - Ca Na bay area, and the management area of Binh Thuan Maritime Administration.

Circular 21/2019/TT-BGTVT stipulates that Binh Thuan Maritime Administration shall have the following responsibilities:

- Perform tasks and exercise powers concerning maritime activities at port terminals and marine port waters under the jurisdiction of Binh Thuan Province, and the Binh Thuan - Ninh Thuan marine port waters in the Vinh Tan - Ca Na area;- Designate specific locations for ships to receive and drop off pilots, undergo quarantine, anchor, transship, and take shelter from storms within the waters as prescribed, ensuring maritime safety, maritime security, and environmental pollution prevention;- Perform the procedures for ships entering and leaving ports under the jurisdiction of Binh Thuan Province, and the Binh Thuan - Ninh Thuan marine port waters in the Vinh Tan - Ca Na area;- Notify Vung Tau Maritime Administration of the name, nationality, main technical specifications, and other necessary information of ships that need to receive and drop off pilots at the pilot transfer area within the marine port waters under Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province's jurisdiction at least 02 hours before ships enter the Vung Tau pilot transfer area for coordination in management; notify Vung Tau Maritime Administration about the maneuvering of ships departing from the positions designated by Vung Tau Maritime Administration to enter the marine port waters under its management at least 01 hour before the ship departs from the designated position;- Coordinate with Vung Tau Maritime Administration to resolve arising incidents involving ships entering and leaving ports under the jurisdiction of Binh Thuan Province, and the Binh Thuan - Ninh Thuan marine port waters in the Vinh Tan - Ca Na area when ships operate within the marine port waters under the jurisdiction of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.
