- Performing its duties and exercising its powers in accordance with the provisions of the Vietnam Maritime Code and other relevant legal documents on maritime activities at the seaport and maritime port waters within the jurisdiction of Quang Nam province.- Based on actual conditions regarding weather, waves, water draft, vessel tonnage, and the nature of cargo, designating specific locations for vessels to conduct pilot boarding and disembarkation, quarantine, anchorage, transshipment, and storm avoidance within the waters as prescribed, ensuring maritime safety, maritime security, and environmental pollution prevention.
