Recently, the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued Circular 14/2019/TT-BLDTBXH on National Technical Regulations for Personal Protective Equipment - Safety Boots.
Safety boots used as personal protective equipment at work are boots that have the characteristics to protect the user from foot injuries that may occur due to accidents. They have toe caps designed to withstand impact testing with an energy level of at least 200J and resist compression testing with a compression force of at least 15 kN.

To be specific, according to the regulations stipulated in the National Technical Regulation for Personal Protective Equipment - safety boots issued along with Circular 14/2019/TT-BLDTBXH, safety boots must be fully provided with information in Vietnamese, with all information being clear and including the following contents:
- Full name and address of the manufacturer or authorized representative
- The number of standards or regulations applied
- Explanation of symbols, labels, and performance levels
- User instructions:
+ Fitting; how to wear and remove the boots;
+ Use; basic information for proper use
+ Usage limitations (e.g., temperature range, etc.);
+ Storage and maintenance instructions, maximum interval between maintenance checks
+ Instructions on cleaning and stain removal;
+ Expiry date or duration of usage;
+ Warnings to deal with unexpected issues (if necessary, additional illustrations)
- Reference to accessories and spare parts;
- Appropriate packaging for transport.
- Instructions on the use of symbols on the labels
- Symbols indicating special protective features (if there are special protective features)
