Changes in Regulations on Provision of Credit Information by SBV

On December 31, 2017, the State Bank of Vietnam signed to promulgate Circular 27/2017/TT-NHNN amending and supplementing Circular No. 03/2013/TT-NHNN on regulations of credit information activities of the State Bank of Vietnam.

According to Circular 27, the provision of information by credit institutions and foreign bank branches is amended as follows:

Credit institutions and foreign bank branches shall provide CIC with the entire Credit Information Indicator System, categorized into the following groups of indicators:

- Identification information;- Credit contract information;- Credit relationship information;- Credit card account status information;- Loan security information;- Annual financial information of borrowing customers who are enterprises, including: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement as regulated by the Ministry of Finance;- Bond investment information in borrowing customers who are enterprises.
