Change in the fees for verification of the satisfaction of eligibility requirements for practicing in food safety sector in Vietnam

The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam recently issued Circular 117/2018/TT-BTC amending and supplementing Circular 279/2016/TT-BTC, prescribing food safety and hygiene fees and collection, transfer, management and use thereof.

	For other production facilities granted certificates of eligibility for food safety	2,500,000 VND/ time/ facility
2	Appraisal of the conditions of testing facilities, conformity certification organizations, state inspection agencies for imported foods:
a	Initial evaluation, extended evaluation	28,500,000 VND/ time/ unit
b	Re-evaluation	20,500,000 VND/ time/ unit
	Appraisal fees for the content of movie scripts, programs on tapes, discs, software, other materials, and promotional materials for food, food additives, and processing aids in the field of health	1,100,000 VND/ time/ product
