Cases in which Employees are Entitled to Fully Paid Leave 2019

The Labor Code 2012 clearly stipulates the periods during the year when employees are entitled to leave with full salary as follows:

1. Public holidays and Tet: (Article 115 Labor Code 2012)

- Gregorian New Year: 01 day (January 1, Gregorian calendar);- Lunar New Year: 05 days;- Victory Day: 01 day (April 30, Gregorian calendar);- International Labor Day: 01 day (May 1, Gregorian calendar);- National Day: 01 day (September 2, Gregorian calendar);- Hung Kings' Anniversary: 01 day (March 10, Lunar calendar).

2. Personal leave, fully paid: (Article 116 Labor Code 2012)

- Marriage: 03 days off; Child's marriage: 01 day off;- Death of biological father, biological mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, or father of husband, mother of husband; spouse's death; child's death: 03 days off.

3. Annual leave (Article 111 Labor Code 2012)

Employees who have worked for an employer for 12 months are entitled to annual leave with full pay from 12-16 days depending on working conditions, and for every 5 years of service, the annual leave increases by 1 day.
