Carrying Overloads Exceeding 50% Will Result in Suspension of Signboards and Logos for 06 Months

Below is a notable content stipulated in Circular 10/2015/TT-BGTVT regarding responsibilities and handling of violations in motor vehicle transportation activities issued by the Minister of Transport on April 15, 2015.

Circular 10/2015/TT-BGTVT stipulates the revocation of badges and license plates for 6 months for business transport motor vehicles and shuttle buses of transport business entities violating the following cases:

- Violations of Clause 6 Article 6 of this Circular when using non-conformable badges or license plates or intentionally falsifying information recorded on the issued badges or license plates;

- Overloading or exceeding the permitted capacity by more than 50%;

- Failure to comply with instructions or handle violations by duty officers.

Additionally, a suspension of operation for 1 month is imposed on enterprises and transport cooperatives operating passenger transport on fixed routes in the following cases:

- Violations of Clause 2 or Clause 3 Article 6 of this Circular;- Violations of any points in Clause 8, Clause 9, Clause 11 (except point b), and Clause 14 Article 6 of this Circular;- Organizing bookings, selling tickets in any form for passenger transport business by contract;- Implementing less than 70% of the scheduled trips approved within 1 month.
