Business software design documents of the State Bank of Vietnam must be approved by the leading IT unit​ (Illustration)

According to the Article 14 of Circular 34/2012/TT-NHNN, based on user requirement documents, survey reports, and related documents, the software development unit in Vietnam shall perform user requirement analysis and develop the system requirement analysis document. For commercial business software, the system requirement analysis document is an analysis of the differences between the user requirements and the existing features of the business software.

The information technology unit and the business unit are responsible for providing opinions and agreeing on the handling plan regarding technical and business contents during the system requirement analysis process. The system requirement analysis document must be approved by the information technology unit.

Additionally, based on the system requirement analysis document and related documents, the software development unit shall develop the software design document and perform the software design. For commercial business software, the software design document includes descriptions of the system architecture, software functions, data organization, installation requirements, configuration, and other related technical documents.

Note: The software design document must be approved by the information technology unit.
