Bases for feed quality testing in Vietnam

Circular No. 20/2017/TT-BNNPTNT was issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam providing guidelines for Decree No. 39/2017/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government on management of feeds.

According to Circular No. 20/2017/TT-BNNPTNT of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, 04 bases for feed quality testing are specified as follows:

- Applied standards: Mandatory information about applied standards is specified in the Appendix 1 enclosed herewith. Mandatory quality criteria are specified in the Appendix 2 enclosed herewith.

- Label: The mandatory information that must be specified on the label of feed products is specified in the Appendix 3 enclosed herewith.

- Relevant technical regulations; regulations on antibiotics and banned substances in livestock and aquaculture.

- Other cases at the request of the inspecting authority or other entities.
