Attire of bailiffs in Vietnam will change according to the season​ (Illustrative image)

According to Circular 05/2020/TT-BTP, the attire of the bailiff in Vietnam is stipulated as follows:

1. Men's attire

- Autumn-winter jacket

• Color: Dark blue fabric.
• Material: Gabardine wool or equivalent fabric.
• Style: Single-breasted blazer, with four patch pockets (two breast pockets, two lower pockets) with batwing-shaped flaps; V-shaped lapels; one row of plastic buttons matching the jacket color; shoulder straps with padding; straight sleeves without cuffs; square hem; rear vent; full body front lining, half body back lining matching the main fabric; all lapels, collars, button strips, pockets, and cuffs feature double stitching.

- Trousers

• Color: Same color as the autumn-winter jacket, used for spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
• Material: Same material as the autumn-winter jacket.
• Style: Dress trousers with two pleats; two diagonal side pockets; zipper fly matching fabric, plastic button inside the waistband, stainless hook at waistband center; six evenly spaced belt loops; one rear pocket without flap and plastic button.

- Spring-summer long-sleeved shirt

• Color: White fabric.
• Material: Pevi 7288 fabric or equivalent.
• Style: Standing collar, long sleeves; shirt placket; sleeves with cuffs and two buttons to adjust sleeve width; one row of white plastic buttons; two patch breast pockets with batwing-shaped flaps; rear yoke with double pleats; straight hem.

- Spring-summer short-sleeved shirt

• Color: White fabric.
• Material: Pevi 7288 fabric or equivalent.
• Style: Standing collar with base, short sleeves; shirt placket; one row of white plastic buttons; two patch breast pockets with batwing-shaped flaps; rear yoke with double pleats.

2. Women's attire

- Autumn-winter jacket

• Color: Dark blue fabric.
• Material: Gabardine wool or equivalent fabric.
• Style: Women's single-breasted blazer with two lower patch pockets with batwing-shaped flaps; front and back with two vertical darts; V-shaped lapels; one row of plastic buttons matching the jacket color; shoulder straps with padding; straight sleeves without cuffs; square hem; rear vent; full body front lining, half body back lining matching the main fabric; all lapels, collars, button strips, pockets, and cuffs feature double stitching.

- Trousers, skirt

• Color: Same color as the autumn-winter jacket, used for spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
• Material: Same material as the autumn-winter jacket.
• Style: Dress trousers with concealed pleats, two diagonal side pockets; zipper fly with one hook and inside button at waistband; six evenly spaced belt loops; one rear pocket without flap and plastic button; pencil skirt knee-length, rear vent, two side front pockets.

- Spring-summer long-sleeved shirt

• Color: White fabric.
• Material: Pevi 7288 fabric or equivalent.
• Style: Standing collar, long sleeves; shirt placket; sleeves with cuffs and two buttons to adjust sleeve width; one row of white plastic buttons; two patch breast pockets with batwing-shaped flaps; front with two vertical darts; rear with two vertical darts; straight hem.

- Spring-summer short-sleeved shirt

• Color: White fabric.
• Material: Pevi 7288 fabric or equivalent.
• Style: Standing collar, short sleeves; shirt placket; one row of white plastic buttons; two patch breast pockets with batwing-shaped flaps; front with two vertical darts; rear with two vertical darts; straight hem.

Additionally, the attire of the bailiff in Vietnam also includes items for both men and women as follows:

- A badge attached in front of the hat and on the upper right sleeve of the autumn-winter jacket and spring-summer shirt, with size corresponding to the garment size.

The badge is oval-shaped, measuring 6 cm in height and 4 cm in width; with red and white border, light blue background; top with bird-wing-like curved edge, bottom pointed; three arcs in white and red and a yellow gear symbol at the center; with a smaller symbol on a red background, with the text "THỪA PHÁT LẠI" in yellow; two symmetrical yellow rice ears on both sides.

- Name tag rectangular in shape, made of metal with glossy plastic coating; Cuu Long blue background; 8 cm in length, 2 cm in width; 1.5 cm wide border; includes Bailiff Office name at the top, name of the person in the middle, position at the bottom. Worn on the right chest when on duty.

- Dark blue tie, made of Gabardine wool or equivalent, suitable length and width; pre-tied with zipper and automatic lock.

- Men's soft cap

• Color: Dark blue.
• Material: Gabardine wool or equivalent.
• Style: Korean-style cap, detachable visor, oval top matching head size, 1.2 cm wide rim with two buttons at the edge; three ventilation eyelets on each side; symbol attached to the front; inner lining matching the main fabric.

- Women's soft cap

• Color: Dark blue.
• Material: Gabardine wool or equivalent.
• Style: Visor attached to the cap body, folded-up 2/3 rear, shaped front 1/3 visor; oval top matching head size, 7 cm high; crown with 3 cm light blue fabric strip aligning with cap color; symbol attached to the front; inner lining matching the main fabric.

- Belt made of leather, black, with rectangular shiny metal buckle.

- Shoes made of leather, black, low-cut, laced (for men), slip-on (for women).

- Socks made of stretch-knit material, white.
