This content is detailed in Circular 33/2016/TT-BTNMT issuing Economic - Technical Norms for land investigation and assessment.

Circular 33/2016/TT-BTNMT stipulates that in the investigation and evaluation of land, the following norms for materials and equipment must be applied:

- The norms for materials and equipment include the norms for the use of materials and the norms for the use of tools (tools, instruments) and equipment (machinery).- The lifespan of tools and equipment is the estimated time during which the tools and equipment are expected to be used in normal production conditions, in line with the economic and technical parameters of the tools and equipment.

- Lifespan of tools: Measured in months.- Lifespan of equipment is in accordance with Decision 3182/QD-BTNMT.

- The power consumption of electrical tools and equipment is calculated based on the capacity of the tools and equipment, 8 working hours per day (shift), and the usage norms of the tools and equipment. The power consumption in the norms tables has been calculated according to the following formula:

- Power consumption = (Equipment capacity per hour x 8 hours x number of shifts using the equipment) + 5% loss.

- The allocation for small and auxiliary tools is calculated as 5% of the tools' norms in the tools' norms table.- The allocation for small materials and losses is calculated as 8% of the materials' norms in the materials' norms table.

See the labor norms at Circular 33/2016/TT-BTNMT effective from December 22, 2016.
