Under Clause 3, Article 4 of Circular 140/2015/TT-BQP, it is stipulated that the military will not call for enlistment citizens with Type 3 health who have refractive eye errors (myopia of 1.5 diopters or more, hyperopia of any degree); drug addiction; or are infected with HIV/AIDS.
Accordingly, under the health standards for military recruitment, cases of myopia of 1.5 diopters or more are not required to perform military service.
