Assessment fees for issuance of operation permits for irradiation equipment in Vietnam

On November 15, 2016, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular 287/2016/TT-BTC regulating the rates, collection policies, submission, management, and use of fees and charges in the field of nuclear energy.

The fee rates for the appraisal and issuance of operation and usage permits for irradiation equipment in Vietnam are regulated by Circular 287/2016/TT-BTC as follows:

1.2.3 Teletherapy equipment using radioactive sources 1 equipment 16,000,000
1.2.4 Accelerator machine 1 machine 20,000,000
1.3 Appraisal and issuance of operation permits for accelerators used in the production of radioactive materials and other accelerators. 1 machine 20,000,000
1.4 Appraisal and issuance of permits for the use of radiation equipment in medicine:
1.4.1 Dental X-ray equipment 1 equipment 2,000,000
1.4.2 Mammography X-ray equipment 1 equipment 2,000,000
1.4.3 Mobile X-ray equipment 1 equipment 2,000,000
1.4.4 General diagnostic X-ray equipment 1 equipment 3,000,000
