the appraisal and approval of the reforestation plan in case the investor undertakes the reforestation themselves are carried out as follows:

- The investor submits 01 set of documents requesting approval of the reforestation plan directly or via postal mail to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) where there is reforestation land.- Within 20 working days from the date of receiving a complete and valid dossier, the DARD organizes the appraisal. In cases requiring on-site verification, the appraisal period may be extended by no more than 15 working days.- If the dossier is invalid, the DARD responds to the Investor within 03 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier.- Within 03 working days from the date of the Appraisal Council meeting, the DARD submits the plan to the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) for consideration and approval. If the plan is not recommended for PPC approval, the DARD informs the Investor of the reasons.- Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the DARD's recommendation, the PPC approves the reforestation plan. If not approved, the PPC clearly states the reasons to the DARD and the Investor.
