Content mentioned in Decision 4765/QD-BNN-TT in 2023 on approving the Project to develop safe, concentrated vegetable production areas, ensuring traceability associated with processing and consumption markets by 2030 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development are as follows:

Specifically, approve the Project to develop safe, concentrated vegetable production areas, ensuring traceability of origin associated with processing and consumption markets by 2030.

General objective: Develop safe, concentrated vegetable production areas, ensuring traceability, associated with processing and consumption markets to meet the needs of domestic vegetable consumption and partly for export, to sustainably develop the vegetable industry; contribute to ensuring national food security, food safety, and hygiene, and improve community health.

Specific objectives until 2030 are as follows:

- National vegetable output reaches 23-24 million tons; of which vegetable output for processing is about 1.0–1.3 million tons.

- Over 95% of vegetable samples inspected and tested met safety standards.

- The proportion of safe, concentrated, traceable vegetable areas accounts for about 30% of the total vegetable growing area in the country.

- The value of vegetable export turnover reaches about 1.0–1.5 billion USD.

Orientation for developing vegetable production in Vietnam

By 2030, the country's vegetable area is expected to reach about 1.2–1.3 million hectares, of which:
