Anti-corruption activities in Vietnam must fulfill the following requirements

Anti-corruption activities must ensure compliance with the requirements stipulated in Circular 05/2011/TT-TTCP on anti-corruption in the inspection sector, issued by the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam on January 10, 2011.

According to Article 13 Circular 05/2011/TT-TTCP:

Anti-corruption activities in Vietnam must fulfill the following requirements :

- Status monitoring must be accompanied by approved programs and plans; information, documents collected, and reports must be filed according to regulations.

- The construction, management, and use of information and data about anti-corruption must be scientific, objective, truthful, purposeful, and targeted correctly; clearly delineating the authority and responsibility of organizations and individuals in managing, exploiting, and providing anti-corruption information and data.

- Verification of asset and income declarations of persons with declaration obligations must be under the right authority, procedure, content, and timeline; verification results must be objective and truthful; reports and provision of verification results must comply with the law.

- Reports on anti-corruption work must be accurate, objective, and promptly delivered.

- Inspection and examination of the responsibility to implement anti-corruption laws; inspection of cases showing signs of corruption must be conducted according to regulations on inspection activities.

- Resolution of complaints in anti-corruption activities must follow the regulations on complaint resolution.

The storage of anti-corruption documents  in Vietnam is regulated as follows:

Information, data, and documents about directives, the implementation of programs, plans to monitor corruption status; documents verifying asset and income declarations of persons with declaration obligations; documents on coordination between specialized agencies in anti-corruption; and reports about anti-corruption must be compiled and stored according to archival laws in Vietnam.

More details can be found in Circular 05/2011/TT-TTCP, which comes into force in Vietnam from March 7, 2011.
