Annulling certain contents of Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government

Decree No. 124/2018/NĐ-CP on amendments to Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP guiding the Law on Commercial Arbitration was issued on September 19, 2018, which annulled certain contents of articles of Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP.

Specifically, Article 1 of Decree No. 124/2018/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government on amendments to Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP annuls certain clauses and articles of Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP as follows:

- Annulling “The original or a certified copy of the paper proving the working office of the arbitration center” in the dossier for registration of operation of arbitration centers specified in Article 8 of Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP.

- Annulling “The original or a certified copy of the paper proving the working office of the branch” in the dossier registration of operation of a branch of arbitration centers specified in Article 10 of Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP.

- Annulling “The certified copy of the document proving the lawful establishment of the foreign arbitration institution issued by a foreign competent agency or organization; The written introduction of operation of the foreign arbitration institution; The list of expected arbitrators and employees of the branch” specified in Points b, c, f Clause 2 Article 21 of Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP.

- Annulling “The original or a certified copy of the document proving the branch office; The certified copy of the decision to appoint the branch head” specified in Points b, d Clause 2 Article 22 of Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP.

Besides, Decree No. 124/2018/NĐ-CP also amends and supplements certain contents of Decree No. 63/2011/NĐ-CP.
