Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam issued Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT regarding periodic reporting policies under state management, which includes regulations on reporting the status of foreign lecturers and foreigners teaching or working in higher education institutions.
Annual reporting on the situation of foreign nationals teaching in Vietnam is required (Illustration)
Specifically, in Article 26 of Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, the regulations on reporting the situation of foreign lecturers and foreign nationals teaching and working in higher education institutions are defined as follows:
Report requirements: General situation of foreign lecturers, foreign nationals teaching and working at the institution; advantages and achieved results; difficulties and obstacles; proposals and recommendations (if any).
Executing entities, report-receiving agencies, and reporting procedures: Foreign-invested higher education institutions report to the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).
Reporting period: Annual periodic report.
Means of submission and receipt of reports: In accordance with the provisions of Article 6 of Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT.
Reporting data cut-off time: From December 15 of the year preceding the reporting period to December 14 of the reporting year.
Reporting submission deadline: As regulated in Clauses 3 and 6, Article 7 of Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT.
Report outline template: Template No. 20 in Annex I issued with Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT.
Report data tables: Table No. I.20a/BGDDT/HTQT in Annex I attached to the Circular.
