This is a notable provision stipulated in Circular 113/2016/TT-BQP on annual leave for professional servicemen, National defense workers and officials in Vietnam.
Professional servicemen, National defense workers and officials in Vietnam are entitled to annual leave as follows:
- Less than 15 years of service: 20 days;
- From 15 years to less than 25 years of service: 25 days;
- 25 years of service or more: 30 days.
Circular 113/2016/TT-BQP also stipulates preferential annual leave policies for professional servicemen, National defense workers and officials stationed far from their families. To be specific:
- Stationed 500 km or more away from their families or on islands in Truong Sa Archipelago, DK: an additional 10 days per year;
- Stationed 300 km to less than 500 km away from their families; stationed in remote, isolated, border areas that are 200 km to less than 300 km away from their families and receiving regional allowances with a coefficient from 0.5 to 0.7, or stationed on islands receiving regional allowances with a coefficient from 0.1 to less than 1.0: an additional 5 days per year.
