Recently, Circular 41/2013/TT-BTNMT was promulgated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, stipulating the procedures, processes, and certification of eco-labels for environmentally friendly products.

The reconsideration, evaluation, and re-certification of the Vietnam Green Label shall be carried out in one of the cases stipulated in Article 10 of Circular 41/2013/TT-BTNMT as follows:

- The enterprise needs to continue using the Vietnam Green Label after the Decision on Vietnam Green Label Certification expires. Three (03) months before the Decision expires, the enterprise shall submit an application for re-certification;- There are changes in the design and manufacturing of the product that affect the compliance with the Vietnam Green Label criteria.

The order, procedures for registration, and re-certification shall be carried out as in the first-time Vietnam Green Label Certification registration.

Note: In cases where the Decision on Vietnam Green Label Certification is still valid but there are changes in the Vietnam Green Label criteria, the enterprise does not need to re-register; in cases where only the product's brand name changes, the enterprise does not need to re-register for certification but must notify the General Department of Environment of this change.
