Circular 17/2018/TT-BCT issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on July 10, 2018, specifically prescribes new points in the criteria for selecting national industrial promotion projects and tasks.
To be specific, Circular 17 stipulates the general criteria and priority criteria when selecting projects and national industry promotion tasks as follows:
General Criteria
- Compliant with the principles of project formulation;- The content of industry promotion activities has the effect of encouraging and promoting the development of industry and handicraft nationwide, in regions, and localities;- Compatible with the level of national industry promotion funding support as decided by the Minister of Industry and Trade;- The unit implementing the project has not violated a national industry promotion contract in the past 02 years.
Priority Criteria
- Priority is given to selecting key projects; projects in prioritized industries and localities as stipulated in Decree 45/2012/ND-CP and guidance documents on industry promotion;- Particularly in cases where projects are implemented in areas with the same conditions and industries, priority is given to the project of the unit with better experience and implementation capacity.
