Agency Receiving Applications for Issuance of Certificate of Registration for Agricultural Products

The receiving agency for the issuance, reissuance, supplementation, and amendment of the Certificate of Registration for product certification activities in accordance with TCVN standards for organic agriculture is stipulated in Article 3 of Circular 16/2019/TT-BNNPTNT. Specifically:

- The receiving agency is responsible for presiding over the assessment for the issuance, reissuance, supplementation, and amendment of the Certificate of Registration for product certification activities in accordance with TCVN standards for organic agriculture.- Organizations certifying organic agricultural products registering for certification activities in one (01) field shall submit the dossier to the specialized agency of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Specifically:

- The Directorate of Fisheries is the receiving agency for the aquatic product sector.- The Directorate of Forestry is the receiving agency for the forestry sector.- The Department of Crop Production is the receiving agency for the crop production sector.- The Department of Livestock Production is the receiving agency for the livestock sector.

- Organizations certifying organic agricultural products registering for certification activities in two (02) or more fields shall choose one specialized agency in the field for registration activities to submit the dossier. The receiving agency shall preside and cooperate with relevant agencies to perform the issuance of the Certificate of Registration for activities.- Organizations applying for reissuance, supplementation, or amendment of the Certificate of Registration shall submit the dossier in accordance with Clauses 2 and 3 of Article 3.
