Agencies required to submit documents to the provincial Historical Archives in Vietnam

On November 20, 2014, the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 17/2014/TT-BNV providing guidelines for determining the agencies and organizations subject to the submission of documents to historical archives at various levels, which took effect on February 1, 2015.

Circular 17/2014/TT-BNV provides guidelines for identifying agencies and organizations required to submit documents to the Provincial Historical Archives in Vietnam as follows:

1. Provincial-level agencies and organizations in Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as provincial level)

- Offices of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council;

- People's Committee;- Specialized agencies under the People's Committee;

- People's Court;

- People's Procuracy;

- Police, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police, Military Command, Border Guard Command;

- Organizations under specialized agencies under the provincial People's Committee with State management functions;

- Public service providers under the People's Committee;

- Central agencies, member units of State economic groups, State corporations organized and operating vertically at the provincial level;

- State enterprises established by the Chairman of the People's Committee;

- Provincial-level political - social - professional organizations, social organizations, social - professional organizations operating with state budget funding.

2. District-level agencies and organizations in Vietnam (districts, district-level towns, city belongs to province, hereinafter referred to as district level)

- People's Council;

- People's Committee;

- People's Court;

- People's Procuracy;

- Police, Military Command of districts;

- Central agencies organized and operating vertically at the district level.
