Recently, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 155/2007/ND-CP on the adjustment of commune-level administrative boundaries to establish communes, township pertaining to districts: Dak R'Lap, Dak Song, Dak Glong, Krong No, Dak Nong province in Vietnam.
Adjustment to Dak Song and Nam N'Jang Communes to Establish Duc An Town, Dak Song District in Vietnam (Internet image)
Decree 155/2007/ND-CP stipulates the establishment of the commune-level town of Duc An in Dak Song District by adjusting 768 hectares of natural area and 3,180 inhabitants from Dak Song Commune and 525 hectares of natural area and 1,143 inhabitants from Nam N'Jang Commune in Vietnam as follows:
- Duc An Township has 1,293 hectares of natural area and 4,323 inhabitants.
- Administrative boundaries of the commune-level town of Duc An: East borders Dak Song Commune and Nam N'Jang Commune, Dak Song District; West borders Dak Song Commune and Dak N'Drung Commune, Dak Song District; South borders Nam N'Jang Commune, Dak Song District; North borders Dak Song Commune, Dak Song District.
At the same time, establish Thuan Ha Commune in Dak Song District by adjusting 2,448 hectares of natural area and 2,743 inhabitants from Dak Song Commune; 390 hectares of natural area and 188 inhabitants from Dak N'Drung Commune; 2,805 hectares of natural area and 722 inhabitants from Thuan Hanh Commune.
- Thuan Ha Commune has 5,643 hectares of natural area and 3,653 inhabitants.
- Administrative boundaries of Thuan Ha Commune: East borders Dak Song Commune, Dak Song District; West borders the Kingdom of Cambodia; South borders Dak Buk So Commune, Tuy Duc District and Dak N'Drung Commune, Dak Song District; North borders Thuan Hanh Commune and Dak Song Commune, Dak Song District.
