The adjusted pension amount serves as the basis for calculating adjustments in subsequent pension adjustments as prescribed in Article 57 of the Social Insurance Law.

For female employees who started receiving pensions from January 1, 2018, to December 31, 2021, who have paid social insurance contributions from 20 years to 29 years and 6 months, and started receiving pensions in the period from January 1, 2018, to June 30, 2018, the pension adjustment shall be made in accordance with the aforementioned provisions first, then further adjusted according to Decree 88/2018/ND-CP dated June 15, 2018, by the Government of Vietnam on adjusting pensions and monthly social insurance allowances.

The Decree is effective from December 24, 2018.
