On September 13, 2017, the Ministry of Public Security issued Circular 31/2017/TT-BCA stipulating the adjustment of monthly allowances for officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security who are eligible for monthly allowances under Decision 53/2010/QD-TTg.

Monthly allowance from July 1, 2017	=	Allowance for June 2017	X 1.0744

Example: Comrade Nguyen Van A, who is entitled to a monthly allowance under Decision 53/2010/QD-TTg, has a service period calculated at 18 years and 06 months with the allowance for June 2017 being 1,742,947 VND.

From July 1, 2017, the monthly allowance of Comrade Nguyen Van A is adjusted as follows:

1,742,947 VND x 1.0744 = 1,872,622 VND.
