Additional Allowance of 150,000 VND/person/month for Demobilized Soldiers and Discharged Military Personnel

Circular 130 stipulates the subjects eligible for the adjusted allowance rates, which include:

- Military personnel who have been demobilized, discharged, or resigned and are currently receiving monthly allowance policies as regulated in Decision 142/2008/QD-TTg for those who participated in the resistance war against the United States to save the country with less than 20 years of service in the military and have been demobilized, discharged to the local area, and Decision 38/2010/QD-TTg, which amends and supplements Decision 142/2008/QD-TTg.- Military personnel and cipher personnel receiving salaries equivalent to military personnel who have been demobilized, discharged, or resigned and are currently receiving monthly allowance policies as regulated in Decision 62/2011/QD-TTg for participants in the war to defend the Fatherland, carrying out international duties in Cambodia, assisting Laos after April 30, 1975, who have been demobilized, discharged, or resigned.

From January 1, 2016, the State Budget will ensure funding for monthly allowance payment for the aforementioned subjects. The adjustment of the allowance is calculated according to the formula:

Thus, the monthly allowance for the subjects under the regulations of Circular 130, after being adjusted, is specifically:

- From 15 years to less than 16 years, the allowance is VND 1,535,000/month;- From 16 years to less than 17 years, the allowance is VND 1,605,000/month;- From 17 years to less than 18 years, the allowance is VND 1,674,000/month;- From 18 years to less than 19 years, the allowance is VND 1,743,000/month;- From 19 years to less than 20 years, the allowance is VND 1,812,000/month.
