Addition of the Agency Responsible for Performing Inspection Functions in the Science and Technology Sector

This is the new content stipulated in Decree 27/2017/ND-CP amending Decree 213/2013/ND-CP on the organization and operation of the inspection activities of the Science and Technology sector, issued on March 15, 2017.

additional Provincial Departments of Standards, Metrology and Quality under the Departments of Science and Technology of provinces and centrally-run cities to the agencies assigned to perform specialized inspection functions.

Thus, the agencies performing the inspection functions of the Science and Technology sector include:

State inspection agencies:

- Inspectorate of the Ministry of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as Ministry Inspectorate);- Inspectorate of the Department of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as Department Inspectorate).

Agencies assigned to perform specialized inspection functions:

- Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality;- Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety.- Provincial Departments of Standards, Metrology and Quality under the Departments of Science and Technology of provinces and centrally-run cities.
