Addition of Cases for Early Withdrawal of Pension Insurance Accounts

This is the newly supplemented content stipulated in Circular 130/2015/TT-BTC amending and supplementing Circular 115/2013/TT-BTC dated August 20, 2013, of the Ministry of Finance guiding pension insurance and voluntary pension fund.

Additional cases where early withdrawal from the retirement insurance account is allowed:

The insured person, who is a Vietnamese citizen, is permitted by competent authorities to legally settle abroad.

The insured person has the right to request the insurer for early withdrawal of part or the entire value of the retirement insurance account in the following cases:

1. The insured person suffers a reduction in working capacity of 61% or more according to the current legal provisions;

2. The insured person is diagnosed with a critical illness as prescribed by law.

3. The insured person, who is a Vietnamese citizen, is permitted by competent authorities to legally settle abroad.
