Recently, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam has approved the Action Plan 2024 for implementing the Artificial Intelligence Application Development Strategy until 2030 (AI Application Strategy).

On May 3, 2024, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam issued Decision 699/QD-BTTTT approving the Action Plan 2024 for implementing the Artificial Intelligence Application Development Strategy until 2030 (AI Application Strategy).
The Action Plan 2024 for implementing the Artificial Intelligence Application Development Strategy until 2030 (AI Application Strategy), as approved by the Ministry of Information and Communications, includes the objectives, requirements, and indicators as follows:
(1) Objectives, requirements
* Objectives:
- Effectively and qualitatively implement the goals and tasks of the Artificial Intelligence Application Development Strategy until 2030 (AI Application Strategy) issued in Decision 2259/QD-BTTTT on December 7, 2022, by the Minister of Information and Communications.
- Enhance responsibility and improve the quality and effectiveness of implementing tasks related to artificial intelligence applications.
* Requirements:
- Clearly define the tasks, completion time, and responsibilities of each agency and unit in implementing the assigned tasks.
- Identify priority tasks, the implementation timeline, and ensure feasibility; implement in 2024 and subsequent years.
- Assigned agencies and units shall actively coordinate closely with relevant agencies and units within and outside the Ministry of Information and Communications to effectively implement the assigned goals and tasks.
