- In the case where the entrepreneur’s passport is valid for less than 05 years, the validity period of the new card issued will be equivalent to the validity period of that passport.

- In cases where the ABTC card is reissued for the following reasons, the validity period of the new card will be equivalent to the remaining validity period of the old card:

- The entrepreneur is issued a new passport;- The entrepreneur is notified by one or more member economies that the ABTC card is no longer valid for entry into those member economies;- The entrepreneur's ABTC card is lost;- The entrepreneur's ABTC card is damaged;- The entrepreneur requests to add member economies to the ABTC card.
